PHOTOSHOP POST PROCESSING
There are times when you take a picture that the image may not capture the real life sunlight. It happens often and there are many different ways that you can restore or even improve the sunlight both in Lightroom and Photoshop. Today, I will show you a Photoshop method you can use on almost all of your images to easily improve the sunlight in less than 5 minutes, while adding a warm atmosphere to your photo. But please, keep in mind every image is unique and you may need to change some of the values shown here according to your image to get a better end result.
Open your image in Photoshop.
Go to Filter > Camera Raw Filter.
Expand the "Basic" tab and apply the following settings.
Expand the "Curve" tab, be sure to have the "Parametric Curve" selected and apply the following settings.
Still in the "Curve" tab, select the "Point Curve" and add 3 new anchor points by clicking 3 times anywhere on the curve graphic.
Apply the following values for the Input-Output fields of each of the points:
Next, select the "Red Channel". Add 3 new anchor points by clicking 3 times anywhere on the curve graphic and apply the following values for the Input-Output fields of each of the points:
Now select the "Green Channel". Add 1 new anchor point by clicking 1 time anywhere on the curve graphic and apply the following values for the Input-Output fields of each of the points:
Select the "Blue Channel". Add 3 new anchor points by clicking 3 times anywhere on the curve graphic and apply the following values for the Input-Output fields of each of the points:
Lastly, to apply the effect click OK in the Camera Raw window.
