Photoshop Post Processing
When photographing indoor scenes from outside—through a window or glass panel—reflections can often ruin an otherwise great shot. Glare, double images, or unwanted reflections of yourself or the environment can be distracting and difficult to remove. So today, I will show you how to eliminate those window reflections quickly and effectively using the new AI-powered tools inside Camera Raw. With just a few simple steps, Photoshop can now detect and reduce reflections automatically, helping you bring clarity and focus back to your images without complicated masking or retouching.
Open your image in Photoshop.
Go to Filter > Camera RAW Filter and click on the "Open Preferences Dialog" icon.
Under "Technology Previews" check the "New AI Features and Settings Panel" option and click OK.
Restart Photoshop and open your image again.
Go to Filter > Camera RAW Filter and click on the "Remove" icon.
Under "Distraction Removal" expand the "Reflections" tab and check the "Apply" option.
Wait a few seconds for the image to be processed, then adjust the Reflection Slider to your liking. Consider that +100 means "no reflections" 0 is for the original image and -100 is to show only the reflection. Once you are satisfied with the end result, click OK in the Camera Raw window.
Thanks to the new AI-powered tools in Camera Raw, removing window reflections in Photoshop has never been easier. In just a few clicks, you can clean up distracting glare and restore sharpness to your photos—no complex selections or manual editing required. It’s a fast, efficient solution that delivers professional results with minimal effort.
