A Taste of What’s to Come: Textures, Brushes, Icons, Oh My…

a quick preview of what we have planned

As you can probably imagine, things have been pretty hectic over here at MediaLoot central. We've been going crazy over wireframes and site designs, working with a bunch of talented designers, and generally planning to launch a big, useful, and really awesome website.I know this might sound like a lot of boring work, but trust me, it's not. You see, we've had the privilege of working with some of the web's top designers to create some of the coolest resources I've ever seen -- and I probably don't have to tell you, but that's really awesome :-)Since we know a lot of you are out there waiting for the launch, we thought it would be a cool idea to share some of our progress. Specifically, we want to give you a sneak peek at a few resources that we've been working on lately. Just think of this as a small taste of what's to come.

Watercolor textures and brushes

Here's a few parts of a set that Matt Ward is creating for us. It includes watercolor textures, brushes, and some other miscellaneous stuff.

Icons and vectors

We're also working with several people to create icons and vector resources for MediaLoot. One of our icon designers is the talented Tanya from artdesigner.lv, and she's working with us to create a custom set of 50 incredible icons. To get an idea of what's in store, here's one icon she did previously:

What do you want to see?

We've been where you guys are, we know what it's like in the trenches, and we know that you've got some special things you'd like to see in the launch.

Let us know in the comments what types of resources, functionality, and anything else you'd like to see in the MediaLoot launch. I promise we'll do our best to deliver it to you. Oh, and if you haven't signed up for the newsletter yet, make sure you do! We've got a lot of free resources and cool announcements coming in the next few weeks.

Thanks again,

- Mason and Jon
