Watercolor Photo Effect Template

With the Watercolor Photo Effect Template for Photoshop you can instantly emulate a painted watercolor effect from any photo that you want. You just need to replace a single Smart Object and the file will automatically transform your photo image into a watercolor painted one.

After updating the Smart Object, you can choose from 3 different paper textures, 8 watercolor masks, enable or disable the paper frame (and change the color), add a warm or cool tone and adjust the vibrance, brightness, contrast and saturation simply increasing or decreasing the layer opacity. The included PSD file has a resolution of 300 dpi with a dimension of 4800 x 3200 px in RGB color mode perfect to be used on your digital images.

How to update the Smart Object

1. Open the "Watercolor Photo Effect Template.psd" file in Photoshop.
2. Double click on the red labelled "[Your Image Here]" Smart Object layer thumbnail.
3. Replace the sample artwork with your own content.
4. Save and close the Smart Object.

How to change the colors

1. Open the "Watercolor Photo Effect Template.psd" file in Photoshop.
2. Double click on the thumbnail of any of the green labelled "[Change X Color]" layers.
3. Pick any color from the Color Picker window and click OK.
