Halftone Press Template

With the Halftone Press Template for Photoshop you can instantly emulate the halftone effect used on newspapers and old press machines. Perfect to give your designs an authentic retro halftone press style easily by replacing one single Smart Object. All of the effects are applied automatically, and all you have to do is replace a single Smart Object with your own design.

After updating the Smart Object, you can easily change the halftone color to match your design, turn on/off any of the 15 different halftone layers to achieve new effects as well to combine 2 or more textures or select between 2 different stroke types. The included PSD file has a resolution of 300 dpi with a dimension of 4800 x 3200 px making it perfect for your print or digital designs.

How to use

Updating Smart Objects

1. Open the "Halftone Press Template.psd" file in Photoshop.
2. Double click on the "[Your Image Here]" Smart Object layer thumbnail.
3. Replace the sample artwork with your own content.
4. Save and close the Smart Object.

Changing the Halftone Color

1. Double click on the "Change Halftone Color" layer thumbnail.
2. Pick any color you wish from the Color Picker window and click OK.
