With the Double Exposure Light Effect Template for Photoshop you can instantly emulate a double exposure effect from any photo or graphic that you want. You just need to replace the 2 Smart Objects and the file will automatically update the 4 included effects using your own graphics or images.

After updating the Smart Objects, you can turn on/off the different adjustment layers, gradient maps and pick any of the 4 included combinations to fine tune the end result. The included PSD file has a resolution of 300 dpi with a dimension of 6000 x 4000 px in RGB color mode perfect to be used on your digital designs.

How to update the Smart Objects

  1. Open the "Double Exposure Light Effect.psd" file in Photoshop.
  2. Double click on the "[Your Image Here]" Smart Object layer thumbnail.
  3. Replace the sample artwork with your own content.
  4. Save and close the Smart Object.
  5. Repeat for the other Smart Object.

How to use the Gradient Maps

  1. Open the "Double Exposure Light Effect.psd" file in Photoshop.
  2. Click on the eye icon next to the "Gradient Maps" layers group to make it visible.
  3. Turn on/off any of the 5 included Gradient Maps.

Some tips to get even more effects

  • Increase or Decrease the opacity of the "Combination X" layer groups.
  • Expand the "Color Tone" layer group and turn on/off the different layers (or increase/decrease the opacity).
  • Turn on 2 or more Gradient Maps and decrease the layer opacity.
