Cartoon Photoshop Action

With the Cartoon Photoshop Action you can give to any of your pictures a cartoon look while keeping your original image intact and with just 1 click. Perfect to be used on portraits, this action will transform your original picture into a cartoon styled one with a single click.

All you need to do is open your image, select the Cartoon action and click on the play button. The action works with any image size and resolution, and a professional result is guaranteed. Once the action finish, you may adjust the sharpness and softness of the effect as well individually adjust the blacks, neutrals, whites, shadows, highlights and increase or decrease the contrast for that particular picture.

How to install

1. Open Photoshop.
2. In the Actions Panel click on the top right icon and from the dropdown menu select "Load Actions".
3. Locate the "Medialoot - Cartoon.atn" file and click on Load.

How to use

1. Open your image. Be sure that is set as the background (if not, go to Layer > New > Background from Layer).
2. In the Actions Panel expand the "Medialoot - Cartoon" action container.
3. Select the "Cartoon" action and click on the play button.

Tips (for a perfect end result):

• For better results use portrait images with clean backgrounds.
• Pick images with good contrasting colors.
• When possible, avoid landscape images or photos with too many fine details.
