Cartoon Effect Photoshop Template

With the Cartoon Effect Template for Photoshop you can instantly emulate a cartoon effect with 5 different styles from any photo or graphic that you want. Perfect to be used on portrait pictures, you just need to replace a single Smart Object for the image and then pick any style from the 5 available ones, enable or disable 3 different overlay textures, turn on/off different color effects and fine tune your final image with the provided adjustment layers.

After updating the Smart Object, you can adjust your end result by controlling the exposure, curves, leves and brightness/contrast; pick any color effect from the 5 available ones (or combine them), enable a dot, noise or color halftone texture overlay and even use 2 or more cartoon effects by reducing the opacity of the effect layers. More advanced users can also control every single effect within a particular style by editing the smart object layer effects. The included PSD file has a resolution of 300 dpi with a dimension of 4800 x 3200 px in RGB color mode perfect to be used on your digital designs.

How to update the Smart Object

1. Open the "Cartoon Effect Photoshop Template.psd" file in Photoshop.
2. Double click on the red labelled "[Your Image Here]" Smart Object layer thumbnail.
3. Replace the sample artwork with your own content.
4. Save and close the Smart Object.

Notes (for a perfect end result):

• For better results use portrait images with clean backgrounds.
• Pick images with good contrasting colors.
• When possible, avoid landscape images or with too many fine details.
