    @Santosh Srinivas: SVG is an open format that can be edited in almost all vector drawing applications (including Illustrator). It can also be viewed, fully scalable in all modern browsers.

    To answer your question simply though, in the same way as the AI or EPS, it just depends on your preferred format smile
