Hooo… Great one!! Social media and websites are current trend on each website. Really great work and design. Thanks!
I kind of like the idea of using a postage stamp look on my website, blog and well, maybe other places in social media. However, I am not a designer, so I’m not quite sure how they actually get used, especially since they have a circle watermark on them. Are they to be used as a button for a hyperlink to my various social media elements? Why is there a watermark? Free should be free right?
Hi Cynthia, they can be used just as image links to your social media accounts, it’s completely up to you how you use them
The icons aren’t watermarked when you download them, just on the preview image on this page. Unless you mean the circular stamp on each of them? which is there purely for visual effect, it isn’t a MediaLoot watermark or anything like that, and if you’re a premium member you can even delete it using the source files.
Thanks
Tony

I will be using these on my current WebApp Design. Adorable!

An update to this set would be great! Google+ is a hot candidate to be included, and there were several other good suggestions in the comments above as well. Maybe an iTunes one as well, to acompany the AppStore icon?

@Chef Dennis:

Interesting, I love the idea of using postage stamp for these social icons, you have done a great job. I may suggest you a website where you can upload and promote your icons: http://www.creattor.com It is. completely free and pretty popular, so you have nothing to lose, good luck!
Pretty nice post. I simply stumbled upon your weblog and
wanted to say that I have really enjoyed surfing around your blog posts.
After all I’ll be subscribing in your rss feed and I’m hoping you write again soon!
picasa stamp also will be great
@Dmitry: Picasa stamp is included in part 2 of the set: link.
oh, yes, sorry. Didn’t see it.
Thanks!
However, I am not a designer, so I’m not quite sure how they actually get used, especially since they have a circle watermark on them.
@iphone psd: They open in illustrator or you can just use the included .png files. The circle is not a watermark, it is part of the design of the stamp.
These are really clever and well done, good job Tony!
I will be trying them out!
Really a great way to represent the social media sites as postal stamps.
