This week’s freebie is an update to our iPad Air and iPad Mini mock up pack. Both devices are now the latest models (iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3). Both mock-ups are Retina resolution, and made with vector shapes in Photoshop. Intended for use by designers to mock-up their user interfaces. It also includes Smart Objects for adding your own screenshots to the devices.

In the pack are 2 .psd files each with Silver, Gold and Space Gray versions of each iPad model.

Just wanted to say that in the email you get from medialoot they show you a picture of the downloadable item right? So anyways, if you try to copy the image URL (right click & click copy image URL) & paste it in the browser, it won’t let you get to the image. It just gives you an ‘Access Denied’. But, if you click Copy Image and paste that into the address bar you’ll get this: https://gallery.mailchimp.com/2bcff092c029bf5f6885526bc/images/ml_iPad_Air_Mock_up.1.jpg , a direct path to the image. I suggest you change this if you deem this necessary. Just thought to bring this up.

Hi Yeshourun, you can regular-click on the image in our emails, because it will link you to the resource. Thank you!

Thats not what I’m getting at Jenn. I’m trying to say that when you try to take the images from the Email, Medialoot doesn’t permit it. It says access denied, and I’m not saying I don’t know how to use Medialoot, I’m saying that Medialoot has an error that they should fix. People aren’t signing up to Medialoot anymore because of what I said above. in other words when you try to extract the images from the Email it won’t let you, but if you do what I said above than you can extract the images from the Email, and get the product without even registering. I don’t know if you mates see it as a problem, but I’m just saying that if your registration stats are dropping, it’s not because Medialoot isn’t good, it’s because of this little error that you guys should probably fix.

Hey Yeshouron, that is a very interesting point and thanks for caring enough to let us know about the issue.

We may try to change how that is handled in the future but since we only email about our free items anyway (and most of the real value is in the PSD file) I don’t think it’s a very significant problem. A few people may just copy that image instead of registering, but from what I see in our analytics that’s been a very very small number.

Anyhow—thanks again. And most importantly I hope you are enjoying the resources.
