10 Must Have Hand Drawn Fonts

Hand lettering and hand drawn fonts are certainly the rage right now. The beauty of these types of art and design is that they inject a large level of human characteristics and evoke a quirky and relaxed feel. Amelia

Amelia is a thin, condensed typeface. With it’s hand drawn, sketchy qualities it makes a great headline/display font. It features a whopping 273 glyphs, including all European accents and most symbols and punctuation.

Corridor

Corridor is a thin hand written font face with serifs that features 98 characters. This font is great both print and digital. It is hand written, but still remains clear and easy to read.

EmmaScript

From MVB's website: Kanna Aoki drew the letters for MVB Emmascript while on a picnic near the Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. Mark van Bronkhorst adapted the writing as a font that maintains a very natural scrawl. Later a bold weight was added. MVB Emmascript has been used to add a lighthearted, human touch to everything from fiction paperbacks to potato chip packaging. The typeface is named for Aoki’s 1968 Volkswagen, Emma.

Gluten

Tyler Finck's Gluten font hilariously points fun at low carb diets. The item description? I’ll have cereal as an appetizer, the pasta special with extra garlic bread, and donuts for dessert. Not even close to paleo.

HandDeco Regular

Gerren Lamson's HandDeco Regular font has the perfect amount of quirk. In Gerren's words, the font is inspired by geometric typefaces of the early 20th century Art Deco era and combines historic display type with the craft of hand-drawn lettering. It makes designing headlines, logos, badges, and prints easy and stylish.

Parker

Parker is a free hand drawn font by James Lafuente that contains uppercase letters, numbers, and some symbols.
