Free Vintage Seamless Vector Patterns

In this pack you will find 8 carefully vectorised seamless ornamental patterns, originally hand drawn in the 19th Century. These are ideal for use in print or digital designs, for example textiles designs, scrapbooking, or websites backgrounds.

The download includes an .ai file containing the 8 vintage patterns and also an .ai file with the swatches. Using the patterns is really simple; just load the swatches into Illustrator, draw your shape and from the swatches panel choose your desired pattern.

How to install:

• Unzip the package.
• Open a document in Adobe Illustrator.
• Go to "Window > Swatches" to show the swatches panel.
• Click the menu icon in the top right corner and choose "Open Swatch Library > Other Library..."
• Locate the “Vintage Seamless Vector Patterns - Swatches.ai” file in your computer.

How to edit:

• Open the “Vintage Seamless Vector Patterns.ai” file in Illustrator.
• Go to "Window > Swatches" to show the swatches panel.
• Double click on the swatch you want to edit.
• Click "Done" when you are finished.
