In this set you will find 15 realistic Dry Media Brushes for Photoshop with a wide range of textures sourced from real dry media strokes over a flat paper. Each preset has been hand crafted using a real high resolution texture and designed to be used along a stylus pen to emulate real dry media strokes. All of the brushes are customisable, but we do not reccomend resizing the brushes up to keep the brushes quality.

Ideal to make sketches or full drawings, these brushes will become very handy and cover all your needs. Simply select the brush you want to use, set a foreground color and start drawing. For more advanced Photoshop users, you can also change the brush settings (texture, noise, shape dynamic, etc) for your specific needs.

Note: To unleash the full potential of these brushes, we highly reccomend to use them with a pressure sensitive stylus pen.

How to install:

  1. Open Photoshop.
  2. Go to Edit > Presets > Preset Manager.
  3. From the dropdown select "Brushes" and click on Load, locate the "Medialoot - Dry Media Brushes.abr" files and click Load.

How to use:

  1. Open your photo in Photoshop or create a new document.
  2. Select the Brush tool (B) and choose the brush you wish to use from the 15 ones included.
  3. Set a foreground color and start painting.

Quick tip:

Always draw light strokes (one over another) with the stylus to get a more real appearance.
