Heavy Rain Overlay Textures

These overlay textures are perfect for adding realistic rain conditions to your photographs. They can be used to enhance a dark night scene, create an dramatic mood or just generally add a bit of atmosphere to your photos.

Simply place one of the textures on top of your photo, and set the Blending Mode to Screen or Color Dodge in Photoshop, adjust the opacity to add more or less intense rain. 

Includes 10 black and white JPG files at 4800 x 3200 pixels each. Compatible with Photoshop, GIMP, Pixelmator, Affinity Photo or any image editor which supports layers and blending modes.

How to Use with Photoshop

• Open your photo in Photoshop
• Go to File > Place Embedded...
• Choose one of the rain overlay textures
• Resize the overlay to cover your photo and confirm
• In the layers panel, choose 'Screen' or 'Color Dodge' from the blending mode dropdown
• Adjust the Opacity of rain overlay
• Tip: Duplicate the layer to increase intensity further or combine Screen and Color Dodge blend modes
