Dirt and Dust Overlay Textures

In this pack, you will find 20 high resolution Dirt and Dust Overlay Textures for adding a whole new atmosphere to your images. Including different dust and particles sizes, you can easily add depth and a new mood to any photo. Each texture is available at 4800 x 3200 px in .JPG file format which is large enough for almost all photos, and also due to the nature of these images being a bit blurred, scaling them up a little doesn't do any noticeable harm.

How to use:

1. Open your photo in Photoshop.
2. Pick any of the 20 available textures and place it into your document on a layer above your photo.
3. Set the blend mode of the overlay layer to Screen, Subtract or any other one that suit your needs and reduce the Opacity if needed.

Quick Tip: Set the texture layer blending mode to Screen if you use it over a dark background or Subtract if it is a lighter one, also experiment with layer blend modes like Lighten, Overlay, Soft Light, Lighter Color etc and also place 2 or more overlays layers and mix various blend modes to get a whole new effect.
