Dusty and Scratched Photoshop Template

With the Dusty and Scratched Template for Photoshop you can instantly emulate a vintage/retro effect from any photo that you want. You just need to replace a single Smart Object and the file will automatically transform your image into a dusty and scratched one. After updating the Smart Object, you can make any combination from: 6 Paper Textures, 6 Dust & Dirt Textures, 3 Lights, 8 Color Effects and turn on/off a Passepartout frame to fine tune the end result. The included PSD file has a resolution of 300 dpi with a dimension of 4800 x 3200 px in RGB color mode perfect to be used on your digital designs.

How to update the Smart Object

1. Open the "Dusty and Scratched Template.psd" file in Photoshop.
2. Double click on the red labelled "[Your Image Here]" Smart Object layer thumbnail.
3. Replace the sample artwork with your own content.
4. Save and close the Smart Object.

Tips for a perfect end result:

• Combine 2 or more Paper Textures and (if needed) decrease the Opacity of one of the textures in the Layers Panel.
• Combine 2 or more Dust&Dirt textures and rotate/flip any of them to get a new end result.
• Increase/decrease any of the Lights layers and combine 2 of them to get a new effect.
• Enable 2 or more Coloring layers.
• Expand the Smart Object smart filters and double click on the Motion Blur effect to edit it.
