Brushed Poster Template

With a multipurpose use in mind, these Brushed Poster Templates are a good fit for almost any type of event you can think of. These posters make use of a minimal background and a brushed clipping mask image to highlight the main image and bring up the reader attention. The pack includes 3 different layouts for you to choose from and they were created with Adobe Illustrator, and compatible with Illustrator CC or newer. Changing the text, shapes or background colors to your own preferences is a very easy task thanks to the Global Colors feature.

Each of the templates are provided in a standard poster size of 12" x 18" in CMYK color (in both .AI and .EPS file formats) and can be scaled up or down proportionally if needed, since all included elements are vectors. Even though the "Ofelia Text" font was used in all of the included templates, it is very easy to change the font to the one you want using the Find Font (Type > Find Font) option in Illustrator.

How to Change the Font

1. Open the template file in Illustrator.
2. Go to Type > Find Font.
3. In the top list select the font to be replaced.
4. In the bottom list select the font to use.
5. Click "Change All" and then click "Done".

How to Change Global Colors

1. Open the template file in Illustrator.
2. Go to Window > Swatches.
3. Double click on any of the Global Colors.
4. Pick any color you like in the Swatch Options window and click OK.

How to Update the Photo

1. Go to File > Place.
2. Locate the image on you computer and click Place.
3. Expand the "Placeholder" and "Clip Group" layer groups.
4. Drag you image layer above the "[Your Image Here]" layer.
