Whenever I try to save all the images as png files, no matter what I do, iOS-App-Icon-Kit-3_22 always saves as a gif. What can I do to fix this?
Procedure:
Open the PSD
Click Save for Web & Devices…
Choose PNG-8
Click Save
Expected:
All the icons in png format, including iOS-App-Icon-Kit-3_22.png
Actual:
All the icons in png format, except iOS-App-Icon-Kit-3_22.gif

Could you update this for iTunes Retina (1024x1024 px) please?
I’m also eagerly awaiting the update to support 1024x1024. Or in the meantime, a blog post that provides instructions on how we can do it ourselves while we wait for the official update.
