Wow this freebie is one of those that are going to be super handy. I love the clean and simple style. Great work once again Tony
i’m sorry, i don’t want to seem unappreciative… however correct me if i’m wrong but this is 1 icon with 100 text changes. Kind of a waste.
I agree with you Tony, Its just a one icon. Although it is well designed, you just need to replace text to make icon for another file type.
Obviously one icon was used as a template for all the others, but it’s not really about how different each one is. The idea of the icons was for them to be convenient. So, the style is simple and suitable for almost any use, each icon is a single vector shape (no text layers), the 100 most common extensions are all included, and they are also in various formats including the individual transparent .png files.
Hopefully they do come in handy one day
@Tony Thomas, Yes there is no question about quality and usefulness of these icons, indeed they are very handy to work with.
But to be honest, your heading is misleading. When I clicked the link (via email) I though there would be 100 different file type icons e.g. like this http://www.iconarchive.com/show/file-type-icons-by-treetog.html . Considering the standard of Media Loot, you guys have been great in creating detailed elements and thats what I was expecting.
People don’t get me wrong with this comments, they are very well designed icons and designer certainly deserves appreciation.
@Ejaz Thanks for your comment, I do understand where you’re coming from. Is there anything in particular that makes the title misleading? I wasn’t sure how else to name them TBH. Perhaps remove the 100?
As you may know we already have a few filetype icon sets, in particular this one is probably more what you were expecting to see.
Very useful, thanks. The fact that they’ve already got the text for each file type is a huge time-saver.
@Tony Thomas, Although removing 100 would not be very attractive but still I think its a good idea to remove it. This wold eliminate the discussion about quantity.
if you see the heading of the example you mentioned above, both of them are using the same word “Filetypes” but have different type of contents. Btw your Filetypes icon set looks great.
@Ejaz Thanks for the constructive comments, it’s appreciated! You’ll notice I removed the 100. It’s not particularly important to mention it in the title, and I’d prefer to not be misleading
also thanks for the comment about the other filetypes set too!
You are great Tony. Thumbs up.
Great freebie…clean and simple…very usefull
Great & useful thanks!
Great :* useful thanks!
Same icon or not, these are a HUGE timesaver! And is that not what MediaLoot’s raison de l’existence is?
Thanks as always, Tony!
Thanks!!!
Thanks for the package
This is bloody awesome!
