Fight Club 2 is happening, as confirmed by the Fight Club author himself, Chuck Palahniuk. Even better, the book will be presented in a 10-issue Dark Horse Comics maxiseries illustrated by award-winning comic artist Cameron Stewart.
Fight Club was one of those books (1996) and movies (1999) that became so wildly popular that it helped define and redefine people's tastes, sense of humor, and appreciations for things a little dark and macabre. It was so poignant that it gripped people across generations, genders, and backgrounds. Now, with the official announcement of Fight Club 2, the communities that have latched onto this culture changing phenomenon are surfacing once again. Surfacing either in sheer happiness or mere disgust. I am leaning towards the former, especially since the format will undoubtedly be beautiful. Here is the promotional illustration as presented by Dark Horse Comics: And a really awesome promotional illustration on Cameron Stewart's blog: So this begs the question:What are your initial reactions of Fight Club 2? And What sort of cult-classic movie or book would you love to see as a graphic novel?
