Why Use Fireworks?

Resources are a designers best friend, they help you save time in your daily workflow and provide inspiration for projects, there are a huge plethora of resources on the web for designers, from pixel perfect Photoshop web elements to super cute icons and grungy high resolution textures and brushes.

Here at MediaLoot, there’s nothing we love more than a well made, super-useful design resource. Whether it’s for artists, graphic designers or the web, and we like to think that we provide our fair share of those resources for our lovely members too!

This roundup is designed to be a collection of some of the most popular resources and hidden gems that the web has to offer for designers, all organized in a way that makes it easy to find what exactly you’re looking for!

And we begin with the designer’s best friend, icons! Icon's are great because they communicate without using words, expert icon designers study semiotics in order to create small images that are recognizable as having some sort of meaning or connection to an object, action, word etc. In this section we have selected a handful of mini icons, detailed, social media and web font icons.

    Don’t worry, you don’t need to be a member, a lot of these are completely free downloads to everybody.

    Being a member is totally cool though of course wink and members usually get benefits with the free files like source files etc. not to mention access to all the premium resources too
