Drool-Worthy Images for Your Design Space
It's more and more common today for freelance designers to create their own products and sell them from their own online shops. Everything from t-shirts and prints to coffee mugs and stickers. Some creations are pure eye candy while others may inspire your everyday work.
What I love about this movement is that it allows you, as a designer, to support other designers. It's a fantastic way to let them know that you appreciate their work enough to purchase it and hang it in your own space. In this post I'm going to list 10 prints that grabbed my attention and sent me looking for available wall space.
"Love What You Do and Let it Kill You" What a statement… It makes you think for a minute, doesn't it? This incredible print is by David M. Smith.
A powerful message and great texture in this beautiful print by BMD Design. I love the lettering in this one. It has a wonderful handmade appeal.
The message is simple, but one the resonates very strongly with me. The design is simple, as well, which enhances the message even further. This awesome print is by Sean McCabe.
You might ask yourself "how can you pack this much awesomeness in to one print?"… Well The Neighborhood Studio has the answer. Capturing the immortal words of MJ into this stunning 18x24 inch print.
An incredible inspirational message captured with beautiful hand lettering. What more do you need? This limited print is by Scott Biersack.
A stunning hand lettered print by Jon Contino. This one is stare worthy. The text has a wonderful flow and balance that captures the eye.
Sometimes you don't need words. As is the case with this incredible portrait titled "Ours", which is french for "Bear". This limited portrait, by Yeaaah! Studio, features an incredible black and white illustrated texture that just draws me in.
I've admired the block printing work of Derrick Castle for quite a while, and this wonderful print titled "Nashville Song Bird" is one of my favorites. Seeing the process of creating these prints is just part of what makes them so unique and a "must have" for the office wall.
I love the simplistic message in this print. The word "hunger" paired with a wolf is just good stuff in anyone's book. This print is by Winston Scully.
Another good message for today's designers. I love the old industrial feel of this print by Half Hazard Press.
